Clinton Appointed Judge stops most of Arizona Immigration law.

One day before Arizona's New immigration law was supposed to go into effect, Judge Bolton, a Clinton appointee, placed an injunction on the major provisions of the new law. Citing irreperable harm that the new law could place on
supposed "victims", she, in efffect, made the law worthless. Arizona is vowing to appeal, which tehy should. I would go far as to enforce the law regardless of the judges decision.
The federal government is currently in violation of its contractual obligations under the constitution, to secure our borders. If a party isn't living up to it's contractual agreements, the other party to the contract can rule that contract null & void.
If, and until, our federal government secures our borders to the point where our citizens are safe, Arizona should refuse to respect this judges order, and do whatever it takes to clean up teir state, and keep new illegal aliens from
wntering their state from across the Mexican border.
John Kerry bought a nice new yacht this year. He paid over $7 million for it. I don't mind that he bought the yacht, it's his money. What I do mind is when Democrats whine about people paying their fair share, and then they
do everything in their power to avoid paying their "fair Share". Kerry decided to berth his boat out of Massechusetts, which coincidentally saves him over $500,000 in taxes. I am all for using government
loopholes to avoid paying taxes, but not by the people who are raising our taxes for the "good of the people."
Kerry got called out by the press on this, and now he is saying that he always intended to pay the taxes. Good for you, Senator Kerry. Joe Biden would be proud of you for doing your patriotic duty.
Albany County DA refuses to press charges against Homeowner

David Soares, the Albany County D.A., decided not to proceed with charges against the Bethlehem Homeowner in the story below. Already, the Attorney for the supposed "victim" is crying foul. Christie Hanson said
that the D.A.'s decision "sounds political and doesn't pass the smell test.".
David Soares did the right thing in deciding not to procesute Mr. Van Plew for the criminal actions of Madeo, the junior. I just wish that more could be done to this kid to show all of the little delinquents that they cannot just run amock, without
any consequences for their actions. There is still the possibility that the Maadeo family may pursue civil litigation against the Van Plew family.
Bethlehem Man charged after calling police on Criminal Teens

Daniel Van Plew thought he was doing the right thing on Saturday, July 17th, when he called the police. Someone was banging on his doors, ringing his doorbell, and moving around on his property in the dark.
There were four shadowy figures in his yard, and Mr. Van Plew chased and tackled one of the trespassers as they tried to flee. The teen, a 14 year old son of Rob Madeo: a blogger for
the Times Union, and three others, were harrassing numerous homes in the neighborhood by ringing doorbells, banging on doors, and who knows what else. According to my sources, this area of Bethlehem has become an
active area for spoiled, trouble-seeking kids, from well-to-do families. I know of one person who has moved out of the area saying that the kids there are "out of control".
The incident occured at aroud 10:30 on Saturday night while the Van Plews were getting ready to retire for the evening. Mr. Van Plew has a wife, a three year old, and a six year old. According to Van Plew, after seeing
shadowy figures on his property, he opened his door to see the teens running, and managed to tackle one. Apparently, the kid hit his face on the ground when being tackled, and sufferd a bloody lip, and maybe some tooth damage.
Van Plew took the kid back to his house and made him sit on the kitchen floor while he called the police. According to Van Plew: when he asked the kid his name, the kid told him to "go fuck himself." After Van Plew's wife arrived in the kitchen, she asked the kid his name
also, and he gave her the same response. At one point the teen told Van Plew that he had a knife in his pocket and that he was going to kill his family, but it only turned out to be a cell phone.
Police initially charged the teens with trespassing, but as of now , those charges have been dropped. Van Plew has been charged by Bethlehem Police with endangering the welfare of a minor, and harrassment, and they have turned the Case over to

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bethlehem, it made national news on November 14, 2004, when Christopher Porco attacked his mother and father, with a
hatchet, while they slept. His father died, and the mother miraculously lived, telling police
that her son did it, before the ambulance arrived. Later, having no memory of the incident, she stood by her son at his trial. He was convicted, and is hopefully spending the rest of of his life in prison.
I am informing you of these two incidents to let you know that you can never know for sure what is on the other side of your door when you open it, especially at 10:30 P.M. The Bethlehem Police Department is a fine police department
and they do a great job at keeping their jurisdiction safe. That being said;they are like all police departments, 99% of the time they are responding to crimes, they are not preventing them. If Mr. Van Plew decided to call the police,
instead of defending his family, as is his constitutional right, he and his family could've ended up like the Porco family.
Mr. Van Plew was protecting his home, and his family from what he saw as intruders onto his property. All charges against him need to be dropped immediately, and he deserves an apology from the police department,
as well as the Madeo Family.

Congressman Charlie Rangel, former Chariman of the tax-code writing House Ways and means Committee, is facing a ethics hearing next week for numerous violations of house ethics rules. From leaving a car parked illegally in the
house parking garage, to illegally renting apartments in NYC violating rent control laws, to not paying taxes on vacation property in the Caribbean, Mr. Rangel sure does seem to forget a lot of
the tax laws that he helped to write.
Congressman Rangel has violated the public trust with his flagrant disregard for the laws that he helps to create, and he needs to be reprimanded, and/or removed from the House of representatives for his unlawful actions.

has an article today exposing what those of us on the right already know. There was, and is, a concerted effort by the left-wing Main stream media, to cover-up any
negative news about President Obama, and to try to label any opponents as racists.

As the NAACP is busy labelling the Tea Party as racists, at least one person in the Obama administration is caught admitting to racism
at a NAACP dinner. Shirley Sherrod, the "former" Georgia Director of Rural Development, is shown in the folowing video admitting
that she didn't help a white farmer as much as she could've because he was white.
How do you think that the left is going to play this video. I can hear Chris Matthews now: This is just an isolated incident. You cannot judge the
whole administration by the actions of one individual. Yet, he was the frist one out there condemning the whole Tea Party movement as racist because
a few deviants decided to act like morons.

In Obama's new healthcare law, there is a mandate that doctor's have to include your body mass index(BMI), in your computerized records that the government will have access to starting in 2014.
Call me paranoid, but I am already looking 10 years down the road, when you will be refused food at a grocery store, because your BMI is too high. You would scan your government issued ID card at the store, and
a flashing alert pops up on the screen telling you that you are violating your weekly caloric intake.
Now would be a good time to suggest some light reading. George Orwell's 1984 is a classic, you should really pick it up.

Me and my family went up to our camp this weekend for our fourth of July weekend. It was a rather normal vacation, in the town of Speculator, NY. This
is a beautiful Adirondack Mountain village, that is like Mayberry in the mountains. On our last night there, I decided to take my wife, and my four year old daughter
into town for ice cream, so we walked up the road to get to our Explorer, which was parked at the top of our campsite.
On the way up the road, we ran into some friends and told them of our plans. One of our friends asked my daughter if she had the money for the ice cream,
in her purse. My daughter laughingly replied "I don't have any money" When asked by our friend " Who's got all the money", My daughter replied, without
missing a beat "Obama's got it!"
I now know, that even at the age of four, that my little girl is going to be alright.
Albany Schools spend the most per pupil, have the highest paid teachers within 100 miles, and yet they have one of the lowest graduation
rates, and teachers who apparently do not have a clue about how to teach properly. So much for getting your money's worth.
Is it time for Albany to purge it's teachers, and start over, like they did at a school in rhode island earlier this year. That may
be the only way that we can reapair our dysfunctional, underachieving, school system.

The state tax on a pack of cigarettes in New York is now $4.35. I am a non-smoker, and my father died from lung cancer when I was 12 years old.
That being said. "What the hell is wrong with you smokers." Why do you continually allow the state and federal governments walk all over your rights. About 80% of
the cost of cigarettes is taxes. You are paying a tax of over 700% on you purchases. Wake the hell up."

Today, in Congressional hearings, the head of the Congressional Budget Office(CBO), informed Congress that the National Debt will reach the highest level when
compared to GDP, since WWII. This is a result of runaway spending by the Bush and Obama administrations, including the TARP spending, stimulus spending, and Obama's
healthcare plan, which hasn't even kicked in yet. Let's not forget the popular failures known as "Cash for Clunkers"and "Cash for caulkers".
We are on course in America, to end up like Greece and Spain. This level of debt is unsustainable, and sooner or later, we will have to pay. You

Senator Schumer used his opening statement at Elena Kagan's Supreme Court Confirmation hearing to attack the the Conservative originalists who make up
the right side of the supreme court. Since Senator Schumer takes issue with a lot of the rulings that Justices Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Scalia, and sometimes Kennedy make, he
chooses to attack them and call them names.
Senator Schumer prefers to Support the liberals on the court who choose to manipulate the constitution, so that they can force their views on an
ignorant citizenry. I am sure Senator Schumer supported the New London decision,where the liberals decided that they can now take your private property,
and give it to other private citizens. He also supports the liberals on the Supreme court who gave terrorists on Gauntanamo Bay constitutional rights.
Senator Schumer is a liberal Dinosaur, who has never had a job in the public sector, in his entire life. He has lived in a different world than the rest
of us since he was first elected at the age of 23. He needs to be removed from office with the rest of the socialists in November, before he becomes

proved that they are idealistic liberals who do not care what the constitution says or means.

Obama's Wall Street reform bill has made it out of conference, and is expected to pass and be signed by the president. This bill places numerous
regulations and restrictions on banks, and investment companies, and will no doubt lead to the loss of thousands of jobs, in an already struggling economy.
With the passage of healthcare reform, and now banking reform, this president is doing all that he can to take control of our country out of the hands
of the public, and put it under the control of the government. If Cap and Trade legislation passes later this year, that would give our government total control over our
healthcare, financial, and energy industries. That should scare the hell out of everyone.
With all of the gevrnment takeovers of every sector of our economy by this administration, is there any doubt left in anyone's mind about whether or not Mr. Obama is
a socialist? The only question I have is, "Is Barack Obama a marxist?"

Federal Judge overturns Obama's Drilling Moratorium

A federal judge in louisiana, ruled that President Obama overstepped his authority by instituting a blanket moratorium on all drilling in the
gulf. Obama instituted a six-month moratorium on all drilling in the gulf, after the Deepwater Horizon accident, even though most of the rigs there have been
drilling without incident for decades.
Are obama's attempts to stop all new and old drilling, in the gulf, part of his strategy to get CAp & Trade passed, or is it just another example of a man, and an administration
with no experience in the real world labor market. I am leaning towards the former, due to the fact that too many people stand to make a fortune, if Cap & Trade passes this
year.By the way, the Obama administration is appealing the ruling, of course.

President Obama did an about face on Shell Oil's plans to drill exploratory wells off of the coast of Alaska in the Arctic Ocean. How long do you think it is going to
take before our country starts to run out of refined oil and gas? There is a moratorium on ALL drilling in the gulf, and now Obama in stopping drilling
everywhere in America. Eventually, supply and Demand is going to dictate that prices increase. HOw many people want, or can afford to, pay $7 for a
gallon of gas. That is where we are heading.
President Obama is trying to force the "Cap & Trade" legislation through congress before November. All of his actions concerning the
gulf and oil exploration, are done with passing this government takeover of our manufacturing industry, in mind.

Governor Patterson's latest budget extender includes a $1.60 per pack tax increase on cigarettes. That will officially make New Yoork's tax on
cigarettes the highest in the nation. Congratulations New York!
Since all of you smokers out there never bothered to organize, and protect your rights, the government now gets to walk all over you. It is a shame
that no one will stand up to the government. I am afraid that they will go after something that I like next.
Albany county wants 50% tax increase on Property taxes

Because Mike Breslin, and the Albany county Legislature, have failed to do their jobs for the last five to ten years, Albany county residents are facing
a 50% tax increase for 2011 because they continue to spend money that the county does not have.
Last year, Breslin mandated five days of furloughs for all county workers, except for the special few. This caused undo hardships on these families, and did nothing
to solve the underlying problem; We have a county Government that continues to spend money that it does not have and refuses to make the necessary cuts
to existing spending at the county level.
There are plenty of places that money can be cut from, and the county should start with all of the FREE Programs that it provides to people who
do not pay taxes. These include, but are not limited to:
Free & reduced daycare for welfare recipients.
Paying moving expenses and buying furniture for welfare recipients
Paying for drug rehab(Some people make multiple visits to rehab, all funded by taxpayers)
Albany County Nursing Home.(Should have bee eliminated a year ago.)
Institute 5 year lifetime maximum on welfare (We have a federal limit, why not a state limit.)
Get rid of useless county workers(Cronyism is alive and well in Albany County, Mr. Breslin. If you need names, e-mail me.)
Albany County Government has continually failed to do it's job. As a result of their incompetence, thay now want taxpayers to pay an addtional 50%
on top of our already inflated property taxes. I must ask Mr. Breslin this question. "Once you pass your 50% tax increase, will it ever come back down to today's
rate once the economy rebounds in 2 or 3 years." I doubt it. It will end up just like the temporary 1% sales tax increase that was only supposed to be for two years. How many times has that one been
extended, Mr. Breslin.
If you people in the Albany county Government cannot do your jobs, step aside in November, and let someone else takeover. We cannnot continue to pay
for your incompetence, and your politicalization of our institutions.
Hillary Says Obama administration to sue Arizona over Immigration Law

In this video, you have Hillary Clinton once again proving that the Obama administration does not care about the will of the people or the rule of law.
Over 60% of the country favors Arizona's efforts to curb illegal immigration, and yet the administration is content to sue Arizona over something that the
federal government has failed to due, yet is obligated to do under our constitution, and several other laws passed by our Congress.
The only numbers that this administration cares about, are the umber of legal and illegal immigrants that they can get to vote for them in the next two elections.
Just a footnote: If this administration passes comprehensive immigration reform,(i.e. amnesty), all 12 million of these illegal immigrants will now get
free healthcare under Obama's healthcare law that was passed illegally, and unconstitutionally, earlier this year.
Governor Gives NY legislators until June 28th to Pass Budget, or the Hammer will fall

Governor Patterson has issued an umtimatum to the NY Legislature. "Pass the budget by June 28th, or I will cut everything."
I am paraphrasing here, but you get the gist of it.
Am I the only one who likes what Patterson is doing when it comes to the budget. He is making the cuts that need to be made because our economy cannot
suppport these bloated programs. Medicare and Medicaid take up well over 50% of our state budget. That is the main reason why we are the highest taxed state in the country.
I hope that The incompetent, childish, brats, who run our state government actually don't pass a budget. It will give our Governor the perfect opportunity
to make the cuts that are decades overdue in New York.

Obama to use oil spill to promote Cap & Trade Legislation

Today I pulled what little money I have, out of the stock market in preparation for President Obama's Oval Office Speech tonight. If I am correct, our
president will say something that will cause the market to drop anywhere from 5 to 10% tomorrow. The rumors are that he is going to use the Gulf oil spill to
promote his Cap & Trade Legislation, which will raise electricity rates for everyone in this country anywhere from $350 to $1800, by some estimates.
Once again, President Obama will try to push our economy further into the abyss that is a recession, by instituting more tax increases upon
a citizenry that doesn't even have two pennies to rub together anymore. It is bad enough that his moratorium on off-shore drilling is costing us
over 50,000 jobs, and the oil rigs may just move to Brazil instead of staying in the gulf idle for six months; Now he is going to throw yet another tax increase
upon us.
Do not let the President and his teleprompter fool you. He is using this spill as an excuse to take even more of your freedoms away. That is what taxes do. They control you,
and enslave you to an ever-growing socialist government.

President Obama is asking Congress to approve another $50 Billion dollar Stimulus, to give to teachers and other public employees to avoid lay-offs.
Why are teachers so special. They are already the biggest recipient of Stimulus money from the first $800 billion dollar stimulus that has
sone nothing to stimuluate our economy. Obama flushed $800 billion dolllars of our tax money down the toilet, and he wants to flush another $50 billion
to save the jobs of union teachers, who are overpaid, over-benefitted, and over exagerated.
Teeachers and public employees should have to sacrifice like the rest of us in this economy. Why are their jobs being saved with our tax money, while the rest of
us are layed-off, and losing benefits. The answer is quite simple: The teachers unions support Obama, and this is their bribe to keep supporting him.

The CEO of AlbanyConservative.com (that's me) underwent knee surgery on monday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. After 3 days of hydrocodone, and other woozy drugs, he is ready to get back to
work. For anyone who is looking for a good knee surgeon, may I recommend Dr. Joseph Fay with Northeast Orthopedic. My knee hasn't really hurt since the surgery, and I am almost walking as good as I was the day I went in.
I must say however, that I didn't enjoy the spinal that much. Although it is neat watching them make you paralyzed at will. Good timing too; I had my surgery one day before Obama signed his new socialized
medicine bill into law.
The most important bill in the last 80 years. This will
change your lives forever if passed, and not for the better. People around the country need to let their Senators know that we do not need more tax hikes
and government control of our lives. This bill, if passed will prolong the recession and destroy what's left of our economy for years to come.
